Professional Bio
Niewohner joined the Munroe-Meyer Institute in August of 2023 after working in Acute Care for over 5 years with pediatric and trauma patients. She has a background in Early Childhood Education receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in ECE and Child Development in 2016. She is excited to start her new career journey as a school-based occupational therapist and be a part of the Early Development Network, serving children from birth to 21 within the Omaha Public Schools district. Niewohner's special interest areas including early intervention with children ages birth to five, school-based therapy, sensory processing and with career aspiration to be a part of the occupational therapy NICU team.
Niewohner provides patient care services for the Department of Occupational Therapy at Munroe-Meyer Institute in a school-based setting.
