Professional Bio
Sultenfuss brings over a decade of teaching experience to the Munroe-Meyer Institute Occupational Therapy Department. She was an educator in Texas, Kansas and Nebraska, teaching elementary through high school language arts, creative writing and social studies. She also worked in special education as a resource paraprofessional, with experience in providing support to students with autism and behavioral needs. Sultenfuss began at the Munroe-Meyer Institute as a student on clinical rotation in school-based occupational therapy services. She was thrilled to return to the department in the fall of 2021. She currently provides school-based services in the Omaha Public Schools for students ages 3-21 with a wide variety of needs and diagnoses. Sultenfuss is passionate about inclusion, play-based learning, and access in the school setting, so that all children can reach their potential as learners.
Sultenfuss provides patient care services for the Department of Occupational Therapy at Munroe-Meyer Institute in a school-based setting.
