Professional Bio

Douchey is an Occupational Therapist with experience in outpatient therapy and school-based settings. Douchey completed the American Occupational Therapy Association Pediatric OT Fellowship at Munroe-Meyer Institute in June 2023. During this Pediatric OT Fellowship program, she also completed the Autism Leadership Academy trainee track through the Nebraska Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders Program.

Douchey has experience working with children including those with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, developmental delay, sensory processing disorders and many other diagnoses. In her current role, Douchey provides school-based therapy for students within the Omaha Public Schools system. Douchey enjoys collaborating and working on interventions to help promote independence and participation for students within their school environment.
