Hannah Steber, MGC, CGC, is a licensed and certified genetic counselor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Genetic Medicine.

Steber obtained a bachelor’s degree in genetics, cell and developmental biology from Arizona State University. She completed her master's degree in genetic counseling at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and joined the department as a prenatal and inpatient genetic counselor in 2022.
She currently works in inpatient settings at local NICU/PICUs in Omaha, including Nebraska Medicine, Children’s Nebraska, Methodist Women’s and CHI Health Bergan Mercy Medical Center. In addition to inpatient consults, Steber sees patients at the Fetal Care Center at Children’s Nebraska. Outside of her clinical role, she is passionate about educating students and serves as both a clinical supervisor and research mentor for genetic counseling students.
