Reese attended Dickinson College where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While at Dickinson, Reese found a love of community service, leadership and student development, and enjoyed completing research abroad at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK. Following undergrad, Reese completed a service year with AmeriCorps VISTA where she served the community of Storm Lake, IA and the students of Buena Vista University.

Developing a further passion for service and student development, Reese completed her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University in 2018 and went on to work at North Dakota State University. In combining her passions and skills for science, education, advocacy and counseling, Reese then sought out a career in genetic counseling and completed her Master of Genetic Counseling here at UNMC in 2024. She now serves a variety of clinics including cystic fibrosis, craniofacial, neurology, autism and prenatal.
