Sneha Roy, PhD

Dr. Sneha Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education and Child Development at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute. Roy obtained her degrees in agriculture and natural resources with a focus on non-formal education (extension education), adult learning, and program planning and evaluation. She is an evaluation specialist and has worked for several national, and international projects and organizations. She received the prestigious DAAD fellowship (German Academic Exchange Service) to pursue her research work on food security education at the Food Security Center, University of Hohenheim, Germany.
Roy provides program evaluation for projects related to community well-being, and early childhood development. Her primary areas of interest include process and method understanding of program planning and evaluation, causal attribution and contribution in evaluation, household food insecurity and child development outcome nexus, and large scale assessments.
