The Hattie B. Munroe Foundation supports multiple programs at the Munroe-Meyer Institute.
The Mission of the Hattie B. Munroe Foundation, in partnership with the Hattie B. Munroe Pavilion, is to support programs and services developed and administered by the Munroe-Meyer Institute that provide diagnosis, treatment and support services to children and youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their families.
Programs and activities funded:
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
- Endowed Chair for the Director of MMI.
- Endowed Chair for the Director of Research.
- integrated Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Recreation Therapy Department and Camp Munroe.
- Stipend for a psychology doctoral intern.
- Stipend for a recreational therapy intern.
- Virtual Reality Laboratory.
