Mission
The Mission of the Hattie B. Munroe Foundation, in partnership with the Hattie B. Munroe Pavilion, is to support programs and services developed and administered by the Munroe-Meyer Institute that provide diagnosis, treatment and support services to children and youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their families.
MMI Programs and Activities Funded
The Hattie B. Munroe Foundation supports multiple programs at the Institute including
- Augmentative Communication
- integrated Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (iCASD)
- Virtual Reality Laboratory
- Recreation therapy department and Camp Munroe
- Endowed Chair for the Director of MMI
- Endowed Chair for the Director of Research
- Stipend for a psychology doctoral intern
- Stipend for a recreational therapy intern
