Title: "Here dude… I don’t need my pacifier for my photo session!"
Location:
Tsurumi, Japan
Submitted by Ronald Shikiya
Category: Students/Residents

Description:
"
This picture was taken of my niece, Ariza, on the day of her baptism. My cousin and her husband (Ariza’s parents) were born in Peru. They moved to Japan so Ariza was born in Japan. I was visiting Japan last year and I met my niece and her dad for the first time."

Title: "The Boys"
Location: Falmouth, Jamaica
Submitted by Rebecca Rawalt
Category: Student/Resident

Description:
"
These are three of the boys who helped run errands for us while we were in Jamaica. They were only teenagers but they were not like the teenagers at home. They had to grow up fast and learn to fend for themselves, though at times you could see glimpses of the inner child coming out."

Title: "Big Sister"
Location: Managua, Nicaragua
Submitted by Bradley Ellis
Category: Student/Resident

Description:
"
This photo was taken on the 2001 Nicaragua SAGH Spring Break Service Trip.  On this day our group was doing vaccinations and other treatments at a church in one of the barrios in Managua near the Los Chavalitos clinic.  Many children came that day but this girl and her younger brother in particular caught my attention as we were finishing up our work.  Our group was in Nicaragua for one week where we worked with Los Chavalitos physicians and stayed with host families."

Title: "Market Day"
Location: Egypt
Submitted by Stacey Knapp
Category: Student/Resident

Description:
"
Market day was hectic. A mule-drawn carriage would take you into town for around $5. It is fascinating to see the different modes of transportation. The trick of the $5 ride was the $30 ride back. This is only if you did not agree on a round trip price."

Title: "Jamaica Luggage"
Location: Montego Bay, Jamaica
Submitted by Paul Paulman
Category: Faculty/Staff

Description:
"
Here's a shot of our luggage and supplies for the people of Falmouth, Jamaica, piled up outside the Montego Bay airport, at the start of our mission."

Title: "¡Muy Caliente!"
Location: Cancun, Mexico
Submitted by Amy Albers
Category: Faculty/Staff

Description:
"
This man was a waiter at a bar in Cancun called ‘Mr. Papas.’ The waiters dance everywhere, with anyone. He was dancing with one of my classmates. Let’s just say she was having a great time!"

Title: "Alright you little brats... say CHEESE!"
Location: Lima Perú
Submitted by Ronald Shikiya
Category: Students/Residents

This picture was taken in Lima, Perú. My sister is a kindergarten teacher and these are her little rasc… I mean cute and sweet students. This picture was taken during Christmas Season last year. You can see the nativity behind them."
