University of Nebraska - Lincoln and University of Nebraska Medical Center

Career aspirations:

I am still trying to figure out the details, but I entered this field to learn how to better serve and give back to the amazing community that raised me.

What was your first job?

Doing yard work and helping my dad flip rental properties.

What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?

Paris

If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?

I used to dream of becoming a marine biologist to ensure I could live near the ocean, but now I would probably get plugged in with public health to improve community resources and programming in the Omaha area.

Best thing to do in Nebraska if you only had one day?

It definitely depends on the weather and time of year. When it's nice out, I love to go to on a bike ride or hike. My favorite is the Wabash trail for biking. Then go to the farmer's market and have a picnic. Lastly wrap up the evening with dinner downtown at La Buvette (or any of our amazing restaurants). In the winter, I would cozy up with a book by a fire and then go to Film Streams for a movie followed by dinner and dessert at Lola's Cafe.
