Jennifer L. Medlin, MD
Assistant Professor, Division of Rheumatology
Dr. Medlin's main interests are in clinical rheumatology and clinical research. She sees patients at the Westroads, Village Pointe and Durham Outpatient Center locations. She serves as the co-director for the rheumatology/dermatology clinic and the director of the lupus clinic.
Dr. Medlin enjoys taking care of patients with a variety of rheumatic diseases with a particular interest in lupus. Her research has evaluated the clinical differences between late-onset versus early-onset lupus with the goal of improving the recognition of late-onset lupus to prevent delays in diagnosis. She also has an interest in the use of ultrasound for the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis.
In her free time, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband.
