John McClain, MD
Assistant Professor, Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine
Originally hailing from the Midwest, Dr. McClain attended medical school at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine, an internal medicine residency at the University of California-Davis, and a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at the University of California San Francisco's Fresno program. His clinical interests include complex critical illness, mixed shock, medical education, sepsis, biocontainment care, austere medicine, critical care air transport, and difficult airways.
He is active duty with the U.S. Air Force as a cadre member with CSTARS-Omaha, training Air Force physicians and nurses in biocontainment care.
