We are committed to training the next generation of nephrologists and building strong basic and clinical research. Our faculty members provide state-of-the-art patient care through UNMC's clinical partners.

Division Chief

Troy Plumb, MD, is a professor in the UNMC Division of Nephrology. Dr. Plumb is consistently voted one of the top teachers in Internal Medicine and he was recognized with the Sir William Osler Resident Teaching Award in 2008. His clinical interests include acute kidney injury and chronic disease. He also is director of the Home Dialysis Clinic.
