Dr. Jennifer M. Davis

Dr. Jennifer Davis joined the HIV/Infectious Diseases team in August 2023 as an Assistant Professor in the UNMC Division of Infectious Diseases.

A New England native, Dr. Davis received her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Vermont and then later went on to obtain her MD from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California San Francisco, and then Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital combined Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program. In her second year of fellowship, she was the HIV Clinician Educator Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.

Dr. Davis’s clinical and research interests include HIV prevention and treatment, HIV in women and pregnancy, LGBTQIA+ heath, medical education, and health equity. She is passionate about mentoring all levels of learner (medical students, residents, fellows, etc.) in projects related to medical education, quality improvement and clinical research.
