Mahliqha Qasimyar, MD, FACP, FHM

Assistant Professor, Division of Hospital Medicine

Dr. Qasimyar completed her medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she graduated from medical school in 2008 and completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2011. She stayed on as Hospital Medicine faculty and quickly realized her passion for patient safety and quality improvement.

Dr. Qasimyar has had the privilege of teaching Safety & Quality Principles to various learner groups, being involved in various systems-level efforts, and she is currently the Medical Director for Patient Safety for Nebraska Medicine.
