Karisa Hajek, MD
Assistant Professor, Division of Hospital Medicine
Dr. Hajek attended Wayne State College where she received her undergraduate degree in chemistry health sciences. She attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and then stayed to finish her Med-Peds residency, and then served as Chief Resident for Internal Medicine.
She then joined the Med-Peds faculty in 2019. Dr. Hajek splits her time caring for hospitalized adult patients at Nebraska Medicine and hospitalized children at Children's Nebraska.
