Dr. Stoller is a cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplant, as well as an expert in cardiac genetics. Upon his arrival at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Stoller launched a cardiac genetics clinic that has had robust growth over the past years. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Dr. Stoller is an active clinical researcher. He developed and led a small trial investigating the use of PCSK9 inhibitor therapy in heart transplant patients with coronary allograft vasculopathy. Dr. Stoller is also involved in multicenter clinical trials including the Dilated Cardiomyopathy Consortium.
Dr. Stoller received his MD and PhD degrees at the University of Chicago via the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP). He completed his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and advanced heart failure subspecialty fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern.
