Ward A. Chambers, MD, MS
Professor, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine
Dr. Chambers has an undergraduate and master's degree in electrical engineering. He was in private practice for 12 years before joining the faculty of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1989. He served as the first Practice Plan Director for the now titled UNMC-P. Dr. Chambers spent 10 years directing community relations and 10 years overseeing international efforts.
Dr. Chambers now works in the Department of Health Services Research & Administration applying Public Health to clinical practice. He also reads echocardiograms and sees outpatients for the Division of Cardiology.
