Dr. May completed medical school and her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After residency, she did a chief resident year focused on patient safety and quality. Loving the field of Allergy and Immunology and the ability to treat both children and adults, Dr. May decided to specialize and completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. May authored several publications in drug allergy.
