iEXCEL is a transformative program creating a new model for healthcare education, training and research. iEXCEL stands for the Interprofessional Experiential Center for Enduring Learning.
The iEXCEL program is headquartered in the Dr. Edwin G. & Dorothy Balbach Davis Global Center on UNMC campus. This 192,000 sq. ft. state-of-the art simulation center is comprised of five distinct levels that facilitate interprofessional experiential learning."
Simulation
iEXCEL clinical simulation provides realistic training environments, scenarios and equipment for learners to practice and refine skills.
Visualization
The iEXCEL visualization team is comprised of expert designers, artists & animators who produce highly accurate medical content for the 3D & virtual worlds.
Research
iEXCEL supports and enhances collaborative research activities in many arenas including educational, clinical care and technology.
