- C-STARS
  C-STARS, the Center for Sustainment of Trauma Readiness Skills- Omaha is a collaboration between UNMC, Nebraska Medicine, and the Air Force Research Laboratory’s School of Aerospace Medicine. C-STARS Omaha works closely with UNMC’s Global Center for Health Security, iEXCEL, and the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit to take advantage of the medical center’s capabilities and expertise in biopreparedness training and research.

Stefanie Neumann

Stefanie Neumann joined the GCHS in June 2022, following her role as a Communication Specialist at the University of Nebraska at Omaha's Health Careers Resource Center (HCRC) and the Omaha Area Health Education Center (AHEC). She currently holds the position of Communication & Website Coordinator at the GCHS and collaborates with the Region 7 Disaster Health Response Ecosystem (R7DHRE) and Strengthening Healthcare Infection Prevention and Control (SHIP-C) core programs. Her responsibilities encompass website management, analytics, social media management, monthly newsletter creation, event planning assistance, and collaboration with the graphic design team to produce marketing and communication materials.

Stefanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009 and a Master of Arts in Communication at UNO in 2016. She is a huge fan of the German National Soccer Team "Die Mannschaft" & the FC Bayern Munich soccer team, and she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, friends, and her cat Cleopawtra, arts & crafts, concerts, and plants.
