- C-STARS
  C-STARS, the Center for Sustainment of Trauma Readiness Skills- Omaha is a collaboration between UNMC, Nebraska Medicine, and the Air Force Research Laboratory’s School of Aerospace Medicine. C-STARS Omaha works closely with UNMC’s Global Center for Health Security, iEXCEL, and the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit to take advantage of the medical center’s capabilities and expertise in biopreparedness training and research.

Lindsey Bandow, MA

Project Manager II

Lindsey Bandow has more than ten years of experience helping a variety of organizations and initiatives with their organizational effectiveness and process improvement efforts, planning and facilitation needs, and research and evaluation studies. Lindsey joined GCHS in 2023 as a project manager for the National Infection Control Strengthening for Small and Rural Hospitals (NICS) and Strengthening Healthcare Infection Prevention and Control (SHIPC) grants. Prior to joining GCHS, Lindsey served as an organizational consultant for Category One Consulting, decision support specialist for the University of Nebraska Omaha, and research and evaluation specialist for the Omaha Public Schools. Lindsey earned her Master of Arts from the University of Nebraska Omaha and Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University.
