Rachel Prudhomme, MBA

Prior to joining GCHS, Rachel Prudhomme was a manager of patient safety and quality at a large academic medical center. She has extensive hospital operations experience as well as being expert in process improvement--leading projects as well as mentoring others through projects. Rachel has also held numerous finance and treasury roles at large international corporations.
Rachel joined the GCHS in 2020 as a program manager. Her responsibilities in this role included research, training, and operational response programs. She has worked on multiple health security programs and initiatives including the Special Pathogens Research Network (SPRN), the National Emerging Special Pathogen Training and Education Center (NETEC), the National Infection Control Strengthening Initiative (NICS), the Regional Disaster Health Response System (RESPTC), and various COVID-19 response activities.
Currently, Rachel is the Associate Director of Business and Finance for GCHS. Rachel and her team are responsible for the financial management, including pre and post award for a portfolio of more than $20 million in awards. Rachel is an integral part of the business development and strategy for GCHS. Additionally, Rachel is a Program Director for the National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center and is an integral leader who helps manage the budget, finances and daily operations.
Rachel earned her MBA from Creighton University and a bachelor of arts from the College of St. Benedict. She is also a Six Sigma Blackbelt and is certified in Lean Manufacturing.
