Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the program, students must be on track to have the following before starting the PhD program.

  • A Master's degree in a related area
  • Graduate coursework in applied behavior analysis at the Master's level
  • Preparation and classes leading to eventual certification as a behavior analyst (i.e., BCBA credential)

Application Process

Visit the Graduate Studies Admissions page for more details to complete the online application.
  1. Once you sign in, select the term you wish to start a program.
  2. Next, search ‘MSIA: Applied Behavioral Analysis PhD’, choose the program with your intended admit term, click the plus on the left hand side and ‘Continue’.
  3. When you enter the Dashboard to continue your application, you will see four selections (Personal Information, Academic History, Supporting Information, and Program Materials).
  4. Enter the requested information within ‘Personal Information’ and ‘Academic History.’
  5. Under ‘Supporting Information,’ you need only attend to the ‘Licenses and Certifications’ and ‘Release Statement’ sections as the rest of the information should be provided in your CV. For the other information, there is an option to select that you are not adding that information.
  6. Select ‘Program Materials’ and then ‘MSIA: Applied Behavioral Analysis.’ Read the ‘Home’ tab.
  7. Select the 'Questions' tab and follow the prompts.
  8. Select the ‘Documents’ tab. This is where you will upload your CV and Personal Statement. You may also choose to upload your certification information, copies of publications, and unofficial test scores.
  9. Select the 'References' tab and follow the instructions to enter the information for three references.
