International Education Week
The annual UNMC International Education Week is a campus-wide event held during the fall semester and features customs, foods and attire from a variety of ethnicities and cultures represented at UNMC.

Saturday, Nov. 12
Diwali Night
6:00-9:00 p.m.
Sorrell Center, Truhlsen Events Center, first floor. Enter using the doors on the front side of the building by the large red telescope. These doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the gates will close at 6:30 p.m. The program and performances start at 6:30 p.m. so you will want to arrive by then.
Join us for a celebration of lights and new beginnings! There will be fun cultural activities for all, along with FREE food and music! This event is jointly sponsored by the International Student Association, Nebraska Medicine, Office of Global Engagement and Student Life Inclusion and Diversity Office.

After Graduation: Navigating the Waters for International Students

A panel of UNMC international alumni will discuss their education and career experiences and take questions from current international students.

UNMC Cultural Expo and Open House
11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Williams Science Hall, second floor
Join the Graduate Student Association, International Student Association, and the Office of Global Engagement for the cultural expo. There will be tables featuring the cultures that make up the international population here at UNMC, along with giveaways, presentations, and more. Lunch will be provided to the first 50 people.

The event will also feature an open house of the Office of Global Engagement. Come sign-up for a door prize.

Bingo
3-5 p.m.

Join us for a game of international bingo, sponsored by the Graduate Student Association, International Student Association and Student Senate. Food and prizes for the winners will be provided.
