Matt Vilburn, DC
Dr. Vilburn is an associate professor of gross anatomy and neuroanatomy. His primary role in the department is teaching. He serves as the co-director for the Neuroanatomy Lecture and Lab courses for graduate students. Dr. Vilburn participates in almost every block of the College of Medicine Phase 1 curriculum and the Structure and Development of the Human Body course for graduate and allied health students. He has a particular interest in creating global access to healthcare education. He is the co-founder of the Virtual Dissection Database and a collaborator on the creation of the Global Neuroanatomy Network.

Dr. Vilburn’s research interests are focused on the effectiveness of emerging technologies in classroom settings.
