About Dr. Love
Linda M. Love, EdD, is the Director of UNMC Faculty Development and has worked in higher education for over two decades. She is passionate about elevating the work and impact of health science educators in Nebraska. Dr. Love’s research interests include the evolving efficacy of leaders, communication in medicine and science, professional identity formation, unconscious bias in health care settings and contributing factors for diversity in leadership ranks in organizations.
Dr. Love is a certified Executive Coach, Gallup Strengths Coach and a Working Genius Coach helping people design their best future. She believes that there is nothing magical about any of the vast array of tools available for individuals to explore. The “results” from any self-assessment tool are not an endpoint or prescriptive. They are inspiration for reflecting on how we show up in the world to enable peak performance. With the fast pace of life and careers, many things are knowingly and unknowingly shaping us, including how we design a career, difficult people and golden opportunities. It can be useful to have a thinking partner to consider how to leverage strengths in the workplace, interact authentically and be mindful in the quest for our best self. Coaching is not therapy. Coaching is not mentoring. Coaching is not advising. It is an investment in YOU.
