Shannon Lynch, MD

Shannon Lynch, MD, is a neuro-ophthalmologist – a subspecialty focused on treating vision problems related to brain or other neurologic disease. She is an associate professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at UNMC and also serves as the chief of Nebraska Medicine’s neuro-ophthalmology division.

Dr. Lynch is very involved in ophthalmology education, serving as Director of Ophthalmology Medical Student Education and as Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Program at UNMC.

Although she is a native of California, Nebraska is Dr. Lynch’s adopted home, and she has been on the faculty since 2005.
