What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a fun, engaging sport that combines different aspects of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played on a shorter court with lightweight paddles that two or four players of any age or ability can enjoy. Players will rotate out if there are more than four. Equipment is provided.

BEGINNER PICKLEBALL – Court time available for beginners to practice serving, volleying, dinking, rule review, etc.

OPEN PLAY – This schedule reflects open court times when Engage Wellness members can meet up to play Pickleball together. The schedule is subject to change. Special events that affect the Pickleball schedule will be announced/posted in advance.

What are the rules?

Pickleball is a game played to 11 points and players can only score points when they, or their team, has the serve. Matches must be won by two points – meaning if one team as 11 points and another has 10, play continues until the higher scoring team is 2 points ahead. Much like tennis or other racket sports, there are rules about serving and receiving a serve, places on the court that are out of play, etc.

Visit USAPA and read a comprehensive list of rules
