Eric Ernest, MD
Eric V. Ernest, MD, is an associate professor and division chief of prehospital and emergency medical services. He is currently dual board certified in emergency medicine and emergency medical services. He is an active member of the National Association of Emergency Medical Services Physicians where he is the immediate past chair of the Rural EMS Committee. Dr. Ernest currently serves in multiple EMS medical director roles for basic and advanced life support EMS agencies as well as for dispatch, tactical, dive and paramedic educational programs. His current areas of research interest include cardiac arrest and resuscitation, prehospital advanced airway and rural delivery of prehospital care.
