Fundamentals of Nutrition

Fundamentals of Nutrition is designed to begin to build a foundation for nutritional education. It utilizes the Nutrition Facts label standardized by the Food and Drug Administration to identify and explain macronutrients. Additional topics include energy and serving sizes.

This module is designed to give learners the opportunity to practice clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis skills while working through a progressive clinical case. The module imitates the flow of an actual physical therapy examination so learners can easily apply and transfer their skills to in-person patient care.

This module will provide an overview of the CLAS standards and the need for cultural competency in healthcare. It will then describe ways to employ best practices when using a medical interpreter to improve access and decrease health disparities for individuals with limited English proficiency.

Managing Highly Hazardous Communicable Diseases: Identify, Isolate, Inform
