This project demonstrates the integration of metabolism in the human body. Insulin, glucagon, and epinephrine regulate carbohydrates, amino acids, and lipid metabolisms. Homeostasis is dependent on the interaction of these systems. This module is designed to allow the students to explore the metabolism after feeding through starvation at the level of the whole body, the organ systems, and the pathways within the individual organs.
