Meiosis

This module reviews the unique features of meiosis, with particular attention paid to the synapsis and recombination events in Prophase I. The information in this module will help the student differentiate between mitotic and meiotic divisions. This module does not contain in-depth lessons on basic cell division machinery such as kinetochores, microtubules, etc.
