Educational Support Grants
Educational Support Grants are available to the College of Medicine faculty to encourage advancements in health professions education. Grants are awarded to faculty to support the implementation of innovative educational programs. Funding from the grant is available from June to the end of the following June (one year). It is selected based on the benefit to the greatest number of students in a medical degree program (including medical students and residents), the faculty member, and the College of Medicine.
Examples of past grants awarded include:
- Purchase of sustainable equipment for clinical education.
- Development of innovative or improved educational programs/courses/training delivery mechanisms.
- Projects aimed to improve access to quality healthcare for all
Applications: an RFP will be sent each year to COM faculty. The form will open in January and close in early April. Exact dates will be included in the RFP.
Apply on-line: https://forms.office.com/r/HKL8ASdsDK
At the end of the grant cycle, the Dean requires a summary letter of the project and its outcome(s).
