Publications and Press Releases
One of the main goals of the National Institutes of Health's Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) program and the IDeA States Pediatric Network is to increase the participation of rural states in pediatric clinical research studies. For the Nebraska Pediatric Clinical Trials Unit, this includes not only increasing the availability of trials for Nebraskans but also improving the visibility of our institutions and building research capacity for Nebraska as a whole.
We will continue to add to our site as the clinical trials unit and the pediatric network begin to publish the results from our studies. In addition, promoting the goals of our site and the network through media outlets will have a positive impact on public awareness in our community as well as federal research support.
