Research Interests:

Heart Failure, Cardiac Myocytes, Stem Cells, Plasma Membrane Proteins, Biomarkers

Current Research Summary:

We are broadly interested in diseases of the heart related to defects in structure or electromechanical function. Currently, we study advanced heart failure in the adult population, but we are interested in engaging in pediatric disease research in the future. We also study stem cell biology and its relationship to early embryonic cardiac development.
