RUNX1, Transcriptional Control, PTBP1, Splicing, AML

Current Research Summary:

My interest lies in uncovering the role of the critical hematopoietic regulator RUNX1 and its associated proteins in establishment and progression of leukemia. I am passionate about basic science research which could eventually lead to the development of more targeted therapies which will reduce relapse rates and allow affected children to live fuller and healthier lives.
