Current Research Summary:

My lab and the Movement Analysis Core (MOVAN) at UNO perform pre-operative assessments for children with cerebral palsy suffering walking disabilities. Clinical gait analysis through kinematic and kinetic assessment of movement, muscle activity, pressure underfoot during walking, and metabolic demand during a 6-minute walk are performed during this assessment. We are investigating gait re-training rehabilitation protocols for these children and hope to expand our network.
