Current Research Summary:
My research goal is to understand a molecular mechanism that controls pediatric genetic disorders including pediatric cancers and childhood eye diseases. Understanding a molecular basis should facilitate the identification of actionable targets and the development of new combination therapies for patients. Biochemical, molecular, and cell biological approaches as well as animal models are being employed to study novel molecular mechanisms and to investigate their in vitro and in vivo functions.
