Research Interests:

Biomechanics, Virtual Reality, Assistive Device Design/Assessment

Current Research Summary:

My primary interests in pediatric research include the characterization and improvement of motor/cognitive differences in children with early developmental disorders (i.e., cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, etc.). Primarily, I intend to achieve these aims through the investigation of novel investigational devices (such as vibrotactile stimulation) and therapies (including virtual reality-based rehabilitation). To date, both of these research lines have shown promising pilot data, and I hope to broaden those results to develop interventions which can be distributed and commercialized for widespread use and maximal impact on motor and cognitive outcomes.
