Current Research Summary:

I am interested in the effects of maternal nutrition on neonatal and maternal health, specifically understanding the role of vitamin e on inflammatory processes in pregnant women and newborns. My previous/current research includes the following: the relationship between tocopherol (vitamin e) isoforms in maternal blood and pre-eclampsia in pregnant women; analysis of tocopherol content in maternal breast milk and relation to growth parameters and medical outcomes in NICU infants.
