UNMC aspires to make movement and fitness integral components of our campus culture as we strive to become the healthiest health science institution in the country. Join the THRIVE Wellness Challenges and become part of the movement!
THRIVE is a catchy acronym that stands for Transforming Health and daily Routines by Inspiring Vitality in Everyone. The program’s goal is to inspire and empower participants to incorporate more activity into their daily routines, especially during the work or school day when people tend to sit for long periods of time. The program is free and open to members of the UNMC/Nebraska Medicine community, which includes students and employees as well as members of the Center for Healthy Living (CFHL). Participants do not need to be CFHL members to join the challenges.
THRIVE Wellness Challenges are planned throughout the academic year.

Steps & Stairs 6-Week Challenge
Our final challenge of the spring semester begins on Monday, April 21 and ends Friday, May 30. It is a progressive mix of walking intensities and exercise time paired with stair steps throughout the 6-week challenge. It is a great way to improve your fitness and overall wellness before summer arrives! The deadline to sign up is April 28.
Turn in your completed challenge sheet to the Center for Healthy Living front desk by June 11 to be entered in the prize raffle.
