Matball

Matball (also called big base kickball) is a variation of kickball that is played indoors. The two biggest differences between matball and kickball are:
- The bases in matball are much larger
- There is no limit to the number of players that may occupy any single base at the same time.
League Play
Available: February through March
Length of Season: Eight weeks consisting of a six-week season and a two-week playoff tournament
Length of Games: 45 minutes (seven innings)
Team Composition: Eight or more co-ed players (minimum of six players, maximum of 15 players)
Team Registration Fee: $30
Late Registration Fee: $40
Participants: Intramural kickball teams must be composed of less than half of non-UNMC/Nebraska Medicine individuals.
