Registration Fee
The registration fee covers all costs associated with the league, including facility access for league participants and spectators for the purposes of scheduled league games. Participants do not need to have a membership to the center to participate in intramural leagues.
The registration fee must be paid in full by the registration deadline; late payments will include an additional $10 late fee. Refunds for intramural leagues are available up to seven calendar days before the first scheduled date of play. No refunds will be given after that point.
CashNet is the new e-commerce platform for UNMC Campus Recreation. Follow the link below to make your league payment.
Participants
Registration for intramural leagues is open to UNMC/Nebraska Medicine staff, faculty, students volunteers, retirees, and the spouse/parents/children (aged 16 or older) of anyone who belongs to any of the previously mentioned groups.
In addition, individuals who don't belong to any of the previously mentioned groups may participate. The number of non-UNMC/Nebraska Medicine individuals allowed on a team is subject to sport-specific limitations.
Competitive Divisions
In order to keep leagues competitive while still being inclusive of players at all different skill and ability levels, several leagues are split into more than one division. Teams will only play other teams that elect to play in the same division. The divisions are described below.
The Elite division is the most competitive division. Participants in this division generally have a wealth of experience in the sport they play and are looking to play other highly experienced players.
The Intermediate division falls between the Elite and Recreational divisions. The Intermediate division is ideal for participants who aren't experts at their sport but desire a quicker, more competitive pace than the Recreational division.
The Recreational division is the most casual level. Teams in the Recreational division are generally composed of participants who are new to the sport and/or primarily interested in playing for fun/leisure.
Please direct questions to the Recreation Program Coordinator or to the Center for Healthy Living front desk if:
- You don't have enough players for a full team
- You encounter any issues during registration
- You'd like more information about this and/or other leagues here at UNMC
