Volleyball
The most popular indoor intramural sport at UNMC, volleyball draws consistently draws around 20 teams each season. Games are played six vs. six (three men and three women per team) and are scheduled at 45-minute intervals. Intervals are played best two out of three sets.
Spring 2025 Season
The Spring 2025 season begins on February 27 with leagues playing on Thursday nights, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The registration deadline is Sunday, February 16 or when the 16-team limit is reached.

Length of Season: 7 weeks, Thursday nights (February 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27, and April 3, 10)
Location: CFHL activity courts (gym)
Divisions: Coed recreation, 16 team limit
Length of games: 45 minutes (play to 25 points, best two out of three sets)
Team Composition: 6 x 6, co-recreational (maximum of 12 players)
Team Registration Fee: $120.00
Late Registration Fee: $130.00
Participants: Intramural volleyball teams must be composed of fewer than half of non-UNMC/Nebraska Medicine individuals.
Winter 2025 Season
The Winter 2024 - 2025 season plays on January 9, 16, 23, 30 February 6, 13, 20 with leagues playing on Thursday nights, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
