The Truhlsen Eye Institute hosts a distinguished lecturer each month from October 2020 through May 2021. The visiting speaker is a highly accomplished and nationally recognized physician/researcher from across the country who will share his/her knowledge and experience with our ophthalmic and optometric medical community. This virtual symposium will focus on the diagnosis and management of rheumatic conditions that are characterized by Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Presentations will focus on Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), preclinical RA including immune checkpoint inhibitors and lessons learned in RA, prevention and treatment of infections in immunosuppressed patients, and other rheumatic disorders.
