CCE Pricing Structure

Below is our new tiered-pricing structure for administrative fees related to continuing medical education (CME) activities. Please note that these prices do not include direct costs incurred (such as hotel, catering, printing, etc.)

Additional fees will be charged for the following:

Live Activities

Ensure ACCME compliance and documentation X X X
Manage all activity related income X X X
Secure conference venue (hotel or social venue) - both local and national on-campus X X
Host activity website X X X
Process registrations and maintain registrant database X X X
Manage registrant communications (confirmation, directions, other relevant information) X X X
On-site registration staffing1 up to 4 hours X X
Prepare, distribute, and summarize activity evaluation X X X
Print name badges X X X
Handout materials available online X X X
Apply for additional accreditations (such as nursing, pharmacy, social work, etc.)   X X
Prepare activity budget estimate   X X
Manage all activity related expenses   X X
Prepare detailed financial report at the end of the activity   X X
Negotiate sleeping room blocks and space requirements   X X
Make catering arrangements   X X
Invitation and confirmation of speaker(s)   up to 10 11 or more
Faculty communication - including coordination of presentation, AV, travel arrangements, honoraria payment, expense reimbursement   X X
Procure mailing list(s) and coordinate save-the-date/brochure design, development, and dissemination   X X
Liaison with UNMC Printing Services   X X
Coordinate with speakers for handout materials    X X
Make AV arrangements - including use of CCE laptop, LCD, and laser pointer   X X
Meeting room set-up and food/beverage oversight   X X
Exhibit hall management, including vendor contracting     X
Poster session coordination     X
Prepare, submit, and reconcile online educational grants     X
Ensure that appropriate letters of agreement from all commercial funding sources are completed and signed by all parties prior to the activity     X
Ensure ACCME Commercial Support Standards compliance     X
Communicate fees, policies, and responsibilities to vendors (Exhibits)     X
Maintain compliance with ACCME and UNMC CCE policies regarding exhibits at educational activities     X


Major Conferences

Fees will be assigned on a per conference basis for activities with a budget of more than $100,000.

Other Activities



1Non-exempt staff working weekend activities will incur an additional charge of $50/hour.
