CCE Pricing Structure

Below is our new tiered-pricing structure for administrative fees related to continuing medical education (CME) activities. Please note that these prices do not include direct costs incurred (such as venue, catering, printing, etc.)

Live Activities  

Live activities are activities that take place over one or multiple days and are held in a classroom setting.

Please note that we also provide planning services for major CME conferences – i.e., activities with a budget of more than $100,000. Fees for major conferences are assigned on a per conference basis.

 

IMPORTANT:

1Non-exempt staff working after hours or weekend activities will incur an additional charge of $55/hour.

2Up to TWO revisions; any additional revisions will incur a $50 charge per request.

Virtual Activities  

Virtual activities consist of real-time live presentations conducted by content experts in an online environment (e.g., webinar or web meeting).

Other Activities  
  • Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) − $700 per activity (fiscal year)
  • Recurring Activities – i.e., same content; multiple dates/locations − $1500 plus $100 for each additional activity
    • Includes Level 1 Live/Virtual Activities services
    • Maximum of 12 activities, including the initial activity
    • Must be offered within a 12-month period
  • Live Educational Series – i.e., thematic content; multiple dates/locations − $1500 plus $250 for each additional activity
    • Includes Level 1 Live Activities services 
    • Minimum of three thematic activities
    • Must be offered within a 12-month period
  • Virtual Activity Educational Series – i.e., thematic content; multiple dates − $1500 plus $250 for each additional activity
    • Includes Level 1 Virtual Activities services
    • Minimum of three virtual thematic activities
    • Must be offered within a 12-month period
    • Hosted by the department
  • Enduring Material Series - i.e., thematic content - $1500 plus $500 for each additional activity
    • Minimum of three thematic enduring material activities
    • Must be offered within a 12-month period
  • Live Webinar − $1500 per activity (12-month period)
  • Enduring Material − $1500 per activity (12-month period)
Additional Fees  

Additional fees will be charged for the following:

  • Reception/Non-conference functions — $500 plus direct costs
  • Rush fee (received <60 days prior to activity start date) — $250
  • Special rush fee (received <30 days prior to activity start date) — $500
  • Commercial support fee — 5% of all commercial support secured  
  • Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit — $500
  • Activity Cancellation
    • <90 days prior to activity start date — 75% admin fee plus direct expenses
    • <60 days prior to activity start date — 85% admin fee plus direct expenses
    • <30 days prior to activity start date — 100% admin fee plus direct expenses
