2024 Updates in Rheumatology
This symposium will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of several rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.
Symposium Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Describe the systemic and extra-articular manifestations of rheumatoid arthritis.
- Discuss screening and treatment strategies for RA-associated lung disease.
- Differentiate distinct types of pulmonary manifestations accompanying RA and their risk factors.
- Identify cardiac imaging modalities for evaluating RA-associated cardiovascular disease.
- Differentiate the distinct cardiac manifestations occurring in RA and their implications.
- Discuss the diagnostic and therapeutic implications of genomic discoveries in RA.
- Contrast the challenges and opportunities of precision medicine in RA.
