2024 Nebraska Antimicrobial Stewardship Summit: Smart Antibiotic Choices, Stronger Future

Welcome! Thank you for joining us.

This Summit will highlight the importance of antimicrobial stewardship and focus on implementation strategies to promote facility-wide incorporation and improved antimicrobial use and patient outcomes.

 

 

Summit Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  1. Facilitate discussions on the impact of antibiotic stewardship interventions, including patient outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and reduction in antibiotic resistance.
  2. Promote evidence-based information to help health care professionals make informed decisions about antibiotic treatment.
  3. Foster collaboration among health care professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators, to strengthen antimicrobial stewardship efforts.

In order to receive continuing education credits, you must:

  1. Check in at the registration desk and attend the live activity.
  2. Complete the online evaluation via the UNMC MyCCE portal.
    • On your dashboard, click Evaluate an Activity.
    • Enter Activity Code 59063.


You have until June 20, 2024, to claim credit for this activity. You will need to complete the evaluation and attest to the time you spent participating in the activity. Your certificate will be saved in your UNMC MyCCE account under Certificates & Transcripts.

Aside from completing the Summit evaluation, please ensure that your NABP e-Profile ID # and date of birth (mm/dd) are on record in your UNMC MyCCE account.
