2023 Midwest Radiation Oncology Symposium
This symposium will provide all members of the interdisciplinary oncology team with education and training on recent advances in radiation oncology, physics, and biology.
Symposium Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be better able to:
- Discuss advances in managing genitourinary cancer, lymphoma, head and neck cancer, central nervous system cancer, breast cancer, and gastrointestinal cancer.
- Explain current knowledge regarding the physics and radiobiology of FLASH radiotherapy.
- Discuss the latest innovations in medical physics education and access to quality care in oncology.
- Identify the roles and responsibilities within the multidisciplinary radiation oncology team and how recent technological advancements impact these roles in cancer care.

Students/Fellows/Residents
The registration fee for full-time students, fellows, and residents is $50.

Cancel/Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, please email conted@unmc.edu no later than Aug. 11, 2023. There is a $25 processing fee for cancellations made by Aug. 11. Cancellations made after this date and registrants who fail to attend are responsible for the full registration fee.
