New Directions for Concussion Care (Attendee Information)
Welcome! Thank you for joining us.
This symposium will facilitate interdisciplinary discussion among concussion care providers. We will examine the constantly changing field of clinical concussion research and discuss how to apply new research to clinical practice. We will delve into evidence-based concussion care, case studies, and other practical applications to assist providers in integrating the latest guidelines into their practice.
Symposium General Information

8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
UNL Memorial Stadium West
- Parking: Complimentary parking is available for symposium attendees in the Stadium Drive Parking Garage on 10th and T Street.
- Take T Street to the parking garage as Stadium Drive is currently under construction.
- Get a ticket from the gate entrance and place it on your dashboard.
- Park in an unreserved spot. You will need to go up the ramp as the parking stalls on the first floor are for reserved parking only.
- Make sure you get a validation stub from the symposium registration desk when you check in.
- When you leave, please put your parking ticket in the ticket taker first, then your validation stub. If you have any issues, an attendant will be available to help.
- Walking Directions to Symposium Site:
- Enter the stadium at Gate 7 (middle of the west side).
- Take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
- Go to the West Stadium Indoor Club.
- Lodging: A block of rooms has been reserved at The Graduate Lincoln (141 N 9th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508) from July 13 through July 14 at the group rate of $104 per night. Reservations may be made online at www.graduatehotels.com/lincoln using group code 9599801 or by calling 402-475-4011 and requesting the UNMC Concussion Symposium block rate. The last day for reservations to receive this group discount is June 22, 2023. After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.

Requirements for Successful Completion
In order to receive continuing education credits, you must:
- Check in at the registration desk and attend the live activity.
- Complete the online evaluation via the UNMC MyCCE portal.
- On your dashboard, click Evaluate an Activity.
- Enter Activity Code 54322.
You have until Aug. 3, 2023, to claim credit for this activity. You will need to complete the evaluation and attest to the time you spent participating in the activity. Your certificate will be saved in your UNMC MyCCE account under Certificates & Transcripts.
